Backpack Journalism Workshop Heads to New Orleans
WASHINGTON, 31 March 2010 — The next Backpack Journalism Workshop With Bill Gentile is scheduled for 12-16 May 2010, inclusive, at the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC) in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This is the first time we are holding a five-day, as opposed to a four-day, workshop.
The NOVAC venue is a perfect match for the workshop, as this non-governmental organization (NGO) describes its mission as “to foster the creation and appreciation of film and video for a public of diverse ages, income levels, and backgrounds.”
