NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ, 23 July 2009 — At a presentation at Rutgers University, I discussed Controlling Idea and how it relates to storytelling. The presentation was part of a broader discussion about writing with video and the Internet.
Rutgers University Professors Paul D. Hammond and Richard E. Miller invited me to present during their course, “Writing as a Naturalist,” perhaps the most exciting approach to writing that I’ve seen in a very long time. With me at the presentation was American University graduate student and assistant, Ted Roach.
