MARACAIBO, Venezuela, 6 October 2009 — I’m addressing a group of students at the Venezuelan-American Center of Zulia (CEVAZ). Also above, colleague Ana Arana and I discuss the state of the media during an interview with Juan Carlos Fernandez of the “A Punto” television studio in Maracaibo.
Ana and I were invited by the U.S. State Department to Venezuela to address university students in Maracaibo, Valencia and Caracas, as well as to interview with numerous media outlets in that South American nation.
